SAILLE is Symphonic Black Metal from Belgium. SAILLE (ᚄ) is also the fourth letter of the Ogham alphabet, meaning ‘willow’ and related to the Latin word salix. Its Proto-Indo-European root was *sal – meaning ‘dirty, grey’. Its phonetic value is [s]. The band name is pronounced [sahl-yeh].

Originating from Belgium, SAILLE now consists of members residing in Belgium, Spain and The Netherlands. For over 15 years, SAILLE has brought Epic Black Metal with impressive live performances to festival stages all over Europe. In January 2025 a new album was announced.
